Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eurico Ferreira kicked off to start the match. Carlos Reis stood somewhat misplaced when Manuel Zonta came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaza SS's Manuel Zonta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Reis. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Manuel Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pureza's Carlos Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Teixeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Reis could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Zonta in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pureza fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Reis having to interfere. Miguel Linhares charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. It was a penalty for Pureza! 43 minutes into the match, Pureza's goalkeeper Carlos Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Teixeira. With a little luck, Pureza's Carlos Reis got control of the ball when Nicolas Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Zonta to make the kick off. Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Reis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pureza's zone, Eliézer Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Reis came out of the goal and Eliézer Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pureza's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Zonta came free, but Carlos Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Reis having to interfere. Nicolas Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Carlos Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gaza SS's Eliézer Maranhense got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani Moreno got free with Samuel Vidal in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Reis having to interfere. Carlos Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Teixeira in the 82nd minute of the match. Nicolas Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaza SS. In the 88th match minute, Pureza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Rezende struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaza SS. After a rather tough play, Pureza's Adhemar Soeiro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nicolas Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Pureza got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Pena. Geovani Moreno took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Vidal. Samuel Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Gaza SS were the better team. Gaza SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
