Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joélson Fontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hélder Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Fontes's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Alan de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hélder Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Nascimento in the 10th minute of play forced Taireta's goalkeeper Hélder Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Itapoa's Oswaldo Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélder Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Miguel Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taireta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapoa the free kick. Dário Aparecido hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tomás Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Oswaldo Nascimento put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Gaspar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joélson Fontes in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Gaspar saved Taireta from getting behind. If Miguel Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Fontes in the 38th minute of play. Hélder Gaspar came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itapoa's Oswaldo Nascimento. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Botelho was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Hélder Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Itapoa's Alan de Sousa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 54 minutes, Oswaldo Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taireta's Hélder Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Fontes in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Alan de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Joélson Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Gaspar. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joélson Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Gaspar was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Alan de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hélder Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Itapoa's Joélson Fontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélder Gaspar. Hélder Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Hélder Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Hélder Gaspar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joélson Fontes in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tomás Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taireta's Hélder Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rocha in the 91st minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Oswaldo Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taireta's Hélder Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
