Carlos Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Pureza booed when BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Ferreira in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Sá saved BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB from getting behind.

54 minutes into the game, Yuri Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adhemar Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Doriva de Senna put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Reis. Carlos Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Doriva de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BORTOLÂNDIA SPORT CLUB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
