If Egídio Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute, Cesinha de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Dário Aparecido took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for William do Valle to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes into the match, Taireta's Valdemar Maciel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
