Edson Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Rodriguinho de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mala Preta LTDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodriguinho de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Botafogo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho de Moraes came free, but Edson Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Barral in the 25th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Torres made a kick off. In the 51st minute Fabinho Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
