Carajari's Rafa Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wágner Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carajari's Dé Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Campidelis in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Wágner Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Cerezo. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ALVINEGRO.LHP's zone, Rafa Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Cerezo came out of the goal and Rafa Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Saldanha hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Carajari's Matías Fernandes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dadá Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dadá Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rafa Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Victor Cerezo made a huge save. Rafa Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute of the match, Válter Xavier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Cerezo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes into the match, ALVINEGRO.LHP's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Torres came free, but Victor Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carajari's Dé Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Domingues in the 41st minute of play. Bernardinho Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. ALVINEGRO.LHP's Betão Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wágner Torres made a kick off. Dadá Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Victor Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafa Abraão went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Victor Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Domingues in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dé Pereira saved Carajari from getting behind. Bernardinho Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dé Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wágner Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cerezo having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Wágner Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carajari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carajari fully deserved thier win.
