After a rather tough play, Società Sportiva Gallo's Bruno Paraense got a free kick in the 38th minute. Guga Soares hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Freire made a kick off. Dino Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
