After a defensive mix-up in ALVINEGRO.LHP's zone, Washington Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Cerezo came out of the goal and Washington Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ALVINEGRO.LHP's Richard de Souza got a free kick in the 10th minute. Váldson de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Victor Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jefferson Leal fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALVINEGRO.LHP's protests and gave Jefferson Leal a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in ALVINEGRO.LHP's zone, Váldson de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Cerezo came out of the goal and Váldson de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Zonta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Cerezo. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Victor Cerezo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by RUNA FC's Váldson de Godoi. But to his dismay, Váldson de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Campidelis in the 34th minute of play forced RUNA FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALVINEGRO.LHP's Betão Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cerezo having to interfere. If Rafael Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Domingues made a kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALVINEGRO.LHP's goalkeeper Victor Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Domingues in the 58th minute of play forced RUNA FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ALVINEGRO.LHP's zone, Cristiano Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Cerezo came out of the goal and Cristiano Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Sérgio de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RUNA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of RUNA FC booed when ALVINEGRO.LHP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Váldson de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cerezo having to interfere. Váldson de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RUNA FC! In the 84th minute of the game, ALVINEGRO.LHP got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Váldson de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cerezo having to interfere. Washington Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
