A wasted opportunity for Thayus Clube de Futebol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Carioca in the 5th minute of play forced Thayus Clube de Futebol's goalkeeper Chicão Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thayus Clube de Futebol were furious when Diamantino Quintal was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 7 played minutes Thayus Clube de Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Quintal. If Manfredo Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceifeiros da Morte's Manfredo Sabóia. But to his dismay, Manfredo Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chicão Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Ceresso in the 15th minute of the match. Chicão Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ceresso in the 19th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Veloso took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Alvarenga. Chicão Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Chicão Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Carioca in the 26th minute of the match. Régis Dantas's late challenge caught a Ceifeiros da Morte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Thayus Clube de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Dantas to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, Thayus Clube de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Prado to maneuver through the defense. If Rony Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Ceifeiros da Morte got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Sabóia. Evaristo Severo's late challenge caught a Thayus Clube de Futebol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Severo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Evaristo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wanderson Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Thayus Clube de Futebol's Kiko Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wanderson Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Thayus Clube de Futebol's goalkeeper Chicão Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Sabóia. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vito Carioca made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vito Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Kiko Torres came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Thayus Clube de Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Torres couldn't finish the play. Chicão Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceifeiros da Morte's Manfredo Sabóia. But to his dismay, Manfredo Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Benjamin Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 78th minute, Zézinho Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Thayus Clube de Futebol's Arí Peres got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes, Ceifeiros da Morte's João Adolfo Guimarães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Alvarenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ceifeiros da Morte reached it. The audience was convinced that Zézinho Novaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wanderson Simões was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Thayus Clube de Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Ceresso came free, but Chicão Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Manfredo Sabóia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceifeiros da Morte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
