The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ibicaba's attack was well implemented in the 69th minute, but when Lauro Ramos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Fausto Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. Lauro Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 82 played minutes Saturno got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Montenegro. In the 86th match minute, Ibicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Zé Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Sérgio Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saturno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ibicaba booed when Saturno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Teixeira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lauro Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. José Augusto Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ibicaba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saturno throughout the match.
