Guilherme Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guilherme Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Peres in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Arí Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Barbudovski's Guilherme Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guilherme Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Torres in the 15th minute of the match. Luís Linhares came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chicão Alvarenga could save by the left post. Chicão Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Sabóia in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, S.E. Barbudovski's Válbson Trancoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chicão Alvarenga. Chicão Alvarenga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Arí Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Guilherme Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Arí Peres sped through S.E. Barbudovski's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Godoi. The Thayus Clube de Futebol fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Thayus Clube de Futebol's Arí Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arí Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Zézinho Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arí Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rony Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Luís Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Alvarenga. Thayus Clube de Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. In the 61st minute of the match, Arí Peres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zézinho Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Guilherme Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Thayus Clube de Futebol's Arí Peres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Arí Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Godoi was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Guilherme Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arí Peres's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Arí Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes, Thayus Clube de Futebol's Charles Jacinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guilherme Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thayus Clube de Futebol reached it. Chicão Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeu Sabóia went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Guilherme Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Peres in the 83rd minute. Kiko Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Arí Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thayus Clube de Futebol's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zézinho Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Thayus Clube de Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Novaes couldn't finish the play. Arí Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Guilherme Godoi made a huge save.
