Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Armandinho Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Renato de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Caricaca getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cristiano de Castro hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Andreas Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Feijao's Wilton Rossi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Augusto Varela might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Róbson Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Varela ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Augusto Varela sped through Feijao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Róbson Varela. After 24 played minutes Caricaca got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano de Castro. Wilton Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Hortêncio Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30thth minute of the game Augusto Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feijao's Róbson Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Róbson Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Augusto Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caricaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Caricaca getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristiano de Castro hit a great ball. Wágner Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Caricaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Lago to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Varela in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Varela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Róbson Varela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 62 minutes of play, Caricaca's Augusto Varela made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbson Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pedrão Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Renato de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Prestes in the 71st minute of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Augusto Varela from a close distance when the talented Róbson Varela managed to make a qualified save. Feijao's players were relieved. Feijao's Róbson Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Feijao from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Augusto Varela could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Róbson Varela however easily saved by the left post. If Armandinho Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feijao's Róbson Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Feijao from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Caricaca's goal looked a bit too open when Esquipula Zapico came free, but Paulo Renato de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Caricaca got a freekick which was hit by Damião Valente. Bernardo Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Prestes struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Paulo Renato de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feijao. In the 96th minute Armandinho Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Caricaca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Feijao throughout the match.
