Elano Cabral came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Ceifeiros da Morte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. In the 88thth minute of the game Roberto Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceifeiros da Morte's Wanderson Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elano Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Joker's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
