Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Mota took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ceifeiros da Morte's Benjamin Ceresso got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The Ibicaba fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Ibicaba's Fausto Mota looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dalmo Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Ibicaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmo Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmo Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lauro Ramos took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wanderson Simões. Wanderson Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Fausto Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceifeiros da Morte's Wanderson Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fausto Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lauro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ceifeiros da Morte's zone, Lauro Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Simões came out of the goal and Lauro Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ibicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Veloso came free, but Zé Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ceifeiros da Morte's Benjamin Ceresso got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lauro Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lauro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mota in the 40th minute of play forced Ceifeiros da Morte's goalkeeper Wanderson Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Benjamin Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceifeiros da Morte and the Ibicaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Teixeira, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ibicaba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
