The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Batista got free with Elano Cabral in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armandinho Prestes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elano Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Feijao's Armandinho Prestes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Elano Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Prestes in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Edu de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Joker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquinho Baptista hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Pedrão Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Cabral.
