Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vito Carioca made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, João Francisco de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Jeferson Montenegro in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sérgio Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Wanderson Simões made a huge save. Sérgio Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Veloso took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Augusto Castro. José Augusto Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Saturno's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Veloso came free, but José Augusto Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wanderson Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Sérgio Trigo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ceifeiros da Morte's Wanderson Simões. Wanderson Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sérgio Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gláuber Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Simões having to interfere. Wanderson Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Saturno booed when Ceifeiros da Morte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Simões came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Saturno's Gláuber Veloso. But to his dismay, Gláuber Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Wanderson Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vito Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceifeiros da Morte's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, João Adolfo Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play, Saturno's Gláuber Veloso made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wanderson Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sérgio Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wanderson Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Saturno got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Veloso. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saturno fully deserved thier win.
