After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Armandinho Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feijao's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 minutes of play, Feijao's Armandinho Prestes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrão Batista in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Valle saved Criciúma E.C from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frédson Leme during the 47th minute. Eliézer Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Róbson Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Armandinho Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feijao played a much better game than Criciúma E.C and deserved their victory. The Criciúma E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
