The audience was convinced that Pedrão Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Castro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Saturno got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Silveira. When Jeferson Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Saturno booed when Feijao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esquipula Zapico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrão Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Róbson Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Veloso in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Sérgio Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Róbson Varela. Feijao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Feijao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Brodel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Veloso in the 56th minute of play forced Feijao's goalkeeper Róbson Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Feijao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lucas to maneuver through the defense. The Feijao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 79thth minute of the game Armandinho Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saturno's José Augusto Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Pedrão Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feijao's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrão Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Hortêncio Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Saturno's João Francisco de Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 91st minute, Jeferson Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Lucas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 98th minute, Jeferson Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Saturno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Feijao's performance. The match ended with a win for Feijao.
