Furious Ball's Wilson Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Furious Ball from getting a goal against them. If Ramiro Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. César Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Valadares made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ramiro Simão sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Valadares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Simão went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Furious Ball's goalkeeper Wilson Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Simão. Wilson Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Araújo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With his leg Wilson Valadares managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Cupijo's Gustavo Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Renato Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Pombal having to interfere. Pedrinho Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Pombal having to interfere. César Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Simão in the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Furious Ball's Adilson Vinhas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ramiro Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Wilson Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Seco in the 66th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Furious Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Araújo came free, but Wilson Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ramiro Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gustavo Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Furious Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Simão came free, but Wilson Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cupijo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Furious Ball had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
