Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Betão Trigo kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Furious Ball got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Freire. Renato Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Pedrinho Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adilson Vinhas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C's Sidnei Abreu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wilson Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Urbano in the 12th minute of play. When Augusto Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furious Ball's protests and gave Augusto Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo F.C's zone, Adilson Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Gomes came out of the goal and Adilson Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorginho Sarmento's late challenge caught a Furious Ball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to São Paulo F.C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jorginho Sarmento hit a great ball. Wilson Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Urbano in the 20th minute of the match. If Pedrinho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Gomes having to interfere. Renato Simão took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vágner Gomes. Vágner Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Renato Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Ortiz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Simão got free with Vágner Gomes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vágner Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Ortiz made a kick off. Wilson Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrianinho Urbano in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vágner Gomes. São Paulo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Simão came free, but Vágner Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jorginho Sarmento was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. A collision led to São Paulo F.C getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jorginho Sarmento hit a great ball. If Pedrinho Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Furious Ball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Valadares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrianinho Urbano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. Adrianinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wilson Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Valadares was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Betão Trigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Trigo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vágner Gomes. São Paulo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 89 minutes into the game, Furious Ball's Pedrinho Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vágner Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 93 minutes of play, São Paulo F.C's Adrianinho Urbano made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there!
