If Luiz Guilherme Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes BBEC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Tróia. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Miritituba FC's goalkeeper Nando Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexsandro Freire hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Giovani Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Guilherme Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Guilherme Félix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Barreto. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. A collision led to BBEC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cauã Carioca hit a great ball. If Luiz Guilherme Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes BBEC got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Pires. Miritituba FC's Gildo Fernandez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sílvio Barreto but with some difficulty. Waldir Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Félix in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Félix in the 84th minute of play forced BBEC's goalkeeper Sílvio Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Giovani Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miritituba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovani Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Guilherme Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Barreto having to interfere. Sílvio Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Miritituba FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BBEC.
