But to his dismay, Douglas Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edu Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sílvio Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BBEC's Reginaldo Domingues got a free kick in the 14th minute. Douglas Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Barreto having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trocary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute, Duarte Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trocary's Duarte de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Rodrigues in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BBEC's zone, Douglas Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Barreto came out of the goal and Douglas Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Edu Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Luiz Gustavo Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Ferraz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Reginaldo Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute, Duarte Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BBEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Douglas Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edu Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, BBEC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Trevisan came free, but Sílvio Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sílvio Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 74th minute. Sandro Tróia's late challenge caught a Trocary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. Sandro Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Sílvio Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
