In the 41st minute, Felippe Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carapeva EC's Felippe Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felippe Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. The Carapeva EC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Carapeva EC's Felippe Gomes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felippe Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Bastos having to interfere. Mateus Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Geovanni Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felippe Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carapeva EC's Joel Albuquerque got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Carapeva EC's Felippe Gomes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Carapeva EC were the better team. Carapeva EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
