Giovani Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Giovani Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, Carapeva EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Barros to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Felippe Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nando Almeida was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Lucas Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nando Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felippe Gomes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Felippe Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Almeida having to interfere. When Felippe Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Carapeva EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Gomes couldn't finish the play. Miritituba FC's Reginaldo Magalhães shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucas Miranda but with some difficulty. The Miritituba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carapeva EC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Gomes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Miritituba FC's zone, Frédson Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Almeida came out of the goal and Frédson Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Giovani Ortiz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Carapeva EC's Lucas Miranda. Lucas Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 minutes of play Miritituba FC's Giovani Ortiz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes into the match, Miritituba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Gomes came free, but Nando Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Gomes in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Almeida saved Miritituba FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Miritituba FC's zone, Frédson Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 77th minute Luiz Guilherme Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Almeida having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Felippe Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapeva EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Kléber Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Guilherme Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Miranda having to interfere. Nando Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Gomes in the 90th minute of play. Frédson Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Gomes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Nando Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
