Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Ortiz started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes, BBEC's Humberto Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Valadares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BBEC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Duarte Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. BBEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renato Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Barreto having to interfere. Waldir Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Valadares having to interfere. Sílvio Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Ortiz in the 29th minute of the match. Wilson Valadares came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by BBEC's Duarte Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Duarte Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in BBEC's zone, Pedrinho Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Barreto came out of the goal and Pedrinho Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Ortiz in the 46th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Simão got free with Sílvio Barreto in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilson Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Sarmento in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Furious Ball getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adilson Vinhas hit a great ball. Duarte Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Valadares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BBEC's Telmo Mineiro got a free kick in the 59th minute. Furious Ball's Renato Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, BBEC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Simão came free, but Sílvio Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. Renato Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Barreto having to interfere. Pedrinho Ortiz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Barreto. Sílvio Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Pedrinho Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sílvio Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Pedrinho Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Barreto having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Furious Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Rodrigues came free, but Wilson Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BBEC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
