The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Trevisan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duarte de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Ortiz in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Vidal in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Valadares saved Furious Ball from getting behind. Duarte de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Renato Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Pedrinho Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Douglas Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trocary's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinei Souto was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Wilson Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Furious Ball's Pedrinho Ortiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duarte de Mendonça. Duarte de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Furious Ball were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Trocary's much stronger midfield.
