Lucas Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Rodrigues in the 13th minute of the match. Felippe Gomes in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sílvio Barreto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Carapeva EC booed when BBEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Tróia during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Felippe Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BBEC's zone, Mateus Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Barreto came out of the goal and Mateus Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Carapeva EC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Luiz Trancoso hit a great ball. Lucas Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felippe Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well placed Felippe Gomes short distance shot in the 42nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Frédson Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Rodrigues to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, BBEC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Gomes came free, but Sílvio Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Carapeva EC got a corner. BBEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carapeva EC's Allan Alves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sílvio Barreto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Felippe Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sílvio Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginaldo Domingues hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Felippe Gomes sped through BBEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Barreto. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mateus Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapeva EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Felippe Gomes put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Barreto. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Felippe Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapeva EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Galvão's late challenge caught a Carapeva EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Galvão helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in BBEC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carapeva EC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Allan Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BBEC's Sílvio Barreto. 5-0. BBEC's Sílvio Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Gomes in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Felippe Gomes sped through BBEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Barreto. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carapeva EC fully deserved thier win.
