Edu Vidal struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Geovanni Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trocary. The supporters of Master Team AD booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luiz Fernando de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Douglas Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Douglas Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geovanni Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Trocary's Douglas Trevisan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovanni Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flávio Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Duarte de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Flávio Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Douglas Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edu Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanni Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 62nd minute, when Trocary's Joaquim Ferraz after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Geovanni Bastos in Master Team AD's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 69th minute Luiz Fernando de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fernando de Queiroz took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte de Mendonça. Duarte de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Trocary getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Trocary's Bernardo Saldanha got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A hard and well directed shot from Mazinho Leite led 84 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Trocary's Duarte de Mendonça became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. With a little luck, Master Team AD's Geovanni Bastos got control of the ball when Claudinei Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Geovanni Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovanni Bastos made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Edu Vidal sent off a good shot on target. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Master Team AD were victorious despite being under pressure from Trocary for much of the match.
