Vivaldo Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudson Amaral hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Leopoldo Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guartela EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guartela EC fully deserved thier win.
