Victor Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Urussui's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Saraiva came free, but Daniel Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Moreno struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. José Carlos Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urussui. José Carlos Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão de Sena's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Daniel Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Saraiva in the 38th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Simão de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moral JFC's José Carlos Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Victor Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Daniel Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Saraiva in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Simão de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Quadros in the 61st minute of the match. Serginho Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Victor Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. José Carlos Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Saraiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Tasso came out and tried to block the shot, but João Carlos Saraiva slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 80th minute. Moral JFC's José Carlos Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Moreno in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Moral JFC booed when Urussui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Frederico das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moral JFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moral JFC's Olavo Trevisan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Tasso but with some difficulty. Álvaro Paraense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Tasso came out and tried to block the shot, but Álvaro Paraense slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute.
