If Gualter Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Gualter Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cipool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Claudinei Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Silas Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Nacional Futebol Alagoas's Washington de Lima got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Vidal in the 21st minute of play forced Nacional Futebol Alagoas's goalkeeper Silas Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cipool booed when Nacional Futebol Alagoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cipriano Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Claudinei Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipool's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Vidal couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gualter Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipool's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
