Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kléber Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Hiame UXX booed when Morros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Chico Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Kléber Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Oswaldo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morros! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfredo Prestes during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Morros got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Prestes. Jeferson Queirós acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gil de Azevedo. 34 minutes into the match, Morros's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Faria came free, but Mané Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Fonseca in the 35th minute of play. Hiame UXX's Jeferson Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Prestes in the 36th minute of play. When Eugênio Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hiame UXX's protests and gave Eugênio Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Hiame UXX got a freekick which was hit by Chico Faria. Mané Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Queirós came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Morros's Kléber Sá. But to his dismay, Kléber Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47thth minute of the game Kléber Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hiame UXX's Jeferson Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington da Mata to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Manfredo Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chico Faria got free with Mané Abraão in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes Morros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reginaldo Medeiros who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Hiame UXX defense, Digo de Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeferson Queirós. The Hiame UXX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeferson Queirós should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Morros's goalkeeper Mané Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugênio Montenegro. 79 minutes into the match, Morros's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Faria came free, but Mané Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Morros's Manfredo Prestes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kléber Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Queirós having to interfere. In the 88th minute Sydney Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Chico Faria made a precise shot to the right of Mané Abraão. Morros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Morros. Gil de Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeferson Queirós. 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Morros had won after a very even match.
