In the 12th minute, Nacional Futebol Alagoas's Dráusio Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Motta in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silas Pernambucano saved Nacional Futebol Alagoas from getting behind. Lauro Amaral took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silas Pernambucano. Silas Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 32 minutes, Lauro Amaral made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nacional Futebol Alagoas's Silas Pernambucano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lauro Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Silas Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xv de piracicaba's Adelino Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silas Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Amaral went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Nacional Futebol Alagoas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xv de piracicaba were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Amaral to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Amaral got free with Silas Pernambucano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Nacional Futebol Alagoas getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pedrinho Aparecido hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Lauro Amaral notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nacional Futebol Alagoas's Silas Pernambucano. Silas Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Adelino Motta fired away a shot on goal. Dráusio Arósio hit a great ball. Paulinho Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Coelho in the 75th minute of the match. Xv de piracicaba's Túlio Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Carneiro hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Adelino Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Silas Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, one of Nacional Futebol Alagoas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
