Greens Fields AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Boca do Rio the free kick. If Jacinto da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Souto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Braga, 1-0. Jeremias Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Souto in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Azevedo to make the kick off. If Rodrigo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in EC Boca do Rio's zone, Luiz Eduardo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Braga came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Souto in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in EC Boca do Rio's zone, Luiz Eduardo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Braga came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Kléberson Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Greens Fields AD's goalkeeper Inácio Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto da Silveira. If Luiz Eduardo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes EC Boca do Rio got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto da Silveira. After 92 played minutes Greens Fields AD got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Souto. 93 minutes into the match, EC Boca do Rio's Jacinto da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, EC Boca do Rio's Inácio Silva threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kléberson Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There was no doubt that Greens Fields AD were the better team. Greens Fields AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
