In the 5th minute, Luisinho Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dudu Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipanana. Michel de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, André da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heraclito AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but André da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Heraclito AD's João Augusto Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel de Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michel de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dudu Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Prado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Germano Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Matorin having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Heraclito AD's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Rodrigues came free, but Dudu Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dudu Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, one of Heraclito AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Germano Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Ipanana got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Britto. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Terra in the 56th minute of play forced Ipanana's goalkeeper Michel de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Heraclito AD got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Prado. Dudu Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Rodrigues in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Adelino Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dudu Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heraclito AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adelino Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ipanana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
