Beira Rio FC's Rubens Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Rubens Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gustavo Sarmento hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Danilo Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Greens Fields AD's Inácio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Loyola in the 78th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Maurício Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greens Fields AD's Inácio Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Beira Rio FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorival da Fonseca. Dorival da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Silva having to interfere. Maurício Paes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Inácio Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maurício Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Inácio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodrigo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Greens Fields AD were the better team. Greens Fields AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
