An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Rodrigues in the 23rd minute of play forced Greens Fields AD's goalkeeper Inácio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Greens Fields AD's zone, Germano Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Silva came out of the goal and Germano Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Luiz Eduardo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel de Amorim having to interfere. Adelino Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Inácio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Dionísio in the 66th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ipanana could leave the field as winners, despite Greens Fields AD having more of the ball for most of the match.
