Inácio Silva was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and André da Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André da Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Greens Fields AD's André Cavalcante got a free kick in the 17th minute. João Augusto Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Inácio Silva made a huge save. In the 20th minute André da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, André da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Inácio Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Augusto Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Inácio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. Paulo Renato Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Matorin having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Inácio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Terra in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André da Rocha to make the kick off. Inácio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greens Fields AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heraclito AD the free kick. Luiz Eduardo Souto hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Paulo Renato Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Heraclito AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute João Augusto Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greens Fields AD's Luiz Eduardo Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dudu Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Eduardo Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Luiz Eduardo Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Heraclito AD could leave the field as winners, despite Greens Fields AD having more of the ball for most of the match.
