When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarbas Porto made a kick off. Maurinho Cabral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Faria. Coxilha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guga Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The M1to Paulista FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Coxilha FC to win.
