In the 5th minute, Paulinho Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisinho Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Tande having to interfere. Alexandre Sousa took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Tande. In the 20th of the match, Durval Maranhense tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Caio de Queiroz got in the way and made a wonderful save. 23 minutes into the match, THUNDER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Godoi came free, but Perivaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by THUNDER FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olívio Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Taboca's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Brito got free with Caio de Queiroz in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Maranhense in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Brito got free with Caio de Queiroz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The THUNDER FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taboca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
