Dagoberto Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Aparecido in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel de Sousa in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Neiva saved M1to Paulista FC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Clóvis Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerquilho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave M1to Paulista FC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Clóvis Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game Maurinho Cabral kicked a great long shot which passed Dagoberto Proença straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Maurinho Cabral behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by M1to Paulista FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jardel de Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time Cerquilho's players had a chance to rest. Sidnei Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Cerquilho getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ramiro de Toledo hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Allan Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Cerquilho got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Mangueira. Cerquilho's Dagoberto Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Matos in the 57th minute of play. The referee gave M1to Paulista FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maurinho Cabral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cerquilho's Dagoberto Proença. 3-0. The supporters of Cerquilho booed when M1to Paulista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wiliam Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Proença having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Wiliam Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerquilho's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guga Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurinho Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. M1to Paulista FC had won after a very even match.
