The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cauã Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathias Macedo was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 55 played minutes GRÊMIO MZ SC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Macedo. In the 58th minute Bebeto Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
