Faustão Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If José Paulo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emerson Macedo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio Bezerra saved Jararaita AD from getting behind. Emerson Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Elite F.C got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Lima. In the 13th minute of the match Alfredinho Araújo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Léo Hermes skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Décio Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léo Hermes. Elite F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Décio Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nilson Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jararaita AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilson Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léo Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Nogueira went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If José Paulo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Macedo in the 34th minute of play forced Jararaita AD's goalkeeper Flávio Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Jararaita AD got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Nogueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Andrade in the 42nd minute of play forced Elite F.C's goalkeeper Léo Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Léo Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Jararaita AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jararaita AD's Nilson Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Bruno Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Rosa in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Elite F.C's José Paulo Rosa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilson Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Léo Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Bezerra having to interfere. Elite F.C's Emerson Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Emerson Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léo Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Andrade in the 85th minute. The Elite F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jararaita AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Jararaita AD.
