Miguel Valladares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Léo Hermes made a huge save. Davi Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If José Paulo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite F.C's goalkeeper Léo Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elite F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Maria Massa was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Araçatuba's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Atlético Araçatuba's corner José Maria Massa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Léo Hermes quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Araçatuba's Flavinho Couto got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 100th minute of the match, Emerson Macedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Alvarenga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Atlético Araçatuba lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
