He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tijolo reached it. Silas Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Tijolo's Silas Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tocandira FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zeca Passos fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tocandira FC's protests and gave Zeca Passos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Zeca Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Diguinho Machado in the 11th minute really tested Nicolas Trancoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 15th minute of the match, Silas Sabóia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Trancoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Tijolo booed when Tocandira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Passos got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zeca Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tocandira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Dieguinho Vianna scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Trancoso, making the score, 1-0. After 22 minutes of play, Tijolo's Silas Sabóia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dieguinho Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nicolas Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Mandrak hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Luiz Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tocandira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Queirós couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Queirós in the 42nd minute of play forced Tijolo's goalkeeper Cauã Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Dieguinho Vianna fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Dieguinho Vianna made the kick off in the second half. If Silas Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Vianna in the 57th minute of play forced Tocandira FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silas Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieguinho Vianna in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Trancoso saved Tocandira FC from getting behind. Nicolas Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Sabóia in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Tijolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Simão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cauã Cabral. Tijolo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dieguinho Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Tocandira FC's Nicolas Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Sabóia in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, one of Tijolo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tijolo. Dieguinho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nicolas Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tijolo had won after a very even match.
