Atlético Araçatuba's Artur Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Vinhas in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Kauã Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Kauã Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa and the Atlético Araçatuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa's Kauã Braga got a free kick in the 7th minute. Alfredão Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Lago in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Valdomiro Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidney Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Valladares's late challenge caught a Costa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Atlético Araçatuba got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Valladares. Isaltino Antunes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Valdomiro Vinhas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Araçatuba's zone, Kauã Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Alvarenga came out of the goal and Kauã Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Araçatuba's Artur Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Vinhas in the 24th minute of play. Sidney Melo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Artur Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa. Cristóvão Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Kauã Braga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Araçatuba's Artur Alvarenga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauã Braga's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Kauã Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Artur Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Melo in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo Lago made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cauan Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa's Alfredão Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Lago in the 56th minute of play. If Valdomiro Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Alvarenga made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Valdomiro Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. When Kauã Braga came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Costa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Braga couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Atlético Araçatuba booed when Costa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Soares was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Araçatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Braga came free, but Artur Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlético Araçatuba getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Cristóvão Jacinto hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Kauã Braga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Atlético Araçatuba's Artur Alvarenga. Artur Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dino de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dino de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Costa's Kauã Braga made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Alvarenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Atlético Araçatuba booed when Costa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Toledo in the 87th minute. Artur Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa's Valdomiro Vinhas. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Miguel Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Costa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
