Cauã Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Macedo in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguinho Vianna made a kick off. José Paulo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Cabral having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Elite F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Capixaba. A hard shot 61 in the game by Dieguinho Vianna from a close distance when the talented Léo Hermes managed to make a qualified save. Elite F.C's players were relieved. The referee showed Luisinho Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Elite F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Capixaba. After a rather tough play, Elite F.C's Percy Corrêa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tijolo's Diguinho Machado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elite F.C. When José Paulo Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Elite F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Rosa couldn't finish the play.
