Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hortêncio Vinhas made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Tocandira FC's Caco Maranhense got a free kick in the 4th minute. Sidney Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nicolas Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa's zone, Luiz Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Soares came out of the goal and Luiz Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes in the game, Hortêncio Vinhas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Alfredão Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hortêncio Vinhas went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hortêncio Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredão Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Leonardo Simão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredão Soares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Costa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. If Kauã Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Nicolas Trancoso managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Costa's Kauã Braga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tocandira FC's Nicolas Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Tocandira FC from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes Tocandira FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sidney Melo who took care of the corner kick. Aílton Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aílton Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdomiro Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nicolas Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aílton Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Trancoso having to make a save. If Kauã Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Trancoso having to interfere. Aílton Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Nicolas Trancoso made a huge save. After some careless play in the Tocandira FC defense, Sidney Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Trancoso. The Tocandira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Trancoso should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidney Melo was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Costa's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Vinhas came free, but Alfredão Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Costa's goalkeeper Alfredão Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Queirós. In the 64th minute Sidney Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeca Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tocandira FC's zone, Valdomiro Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Trancoso came out of the goal and Valdomiro Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Tocandira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Barreto came free, but Nicolas Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Antunes in the 72nd minute of the match. The Costa fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Costa's Sidney Melo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valdomiro Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Melo in the 86th minute of play forced Tocandira FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tocandira FC's Nicolas Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Melo in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Costa's Kauã Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sidney Melo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Trancoso. Nicolas Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 97th minute, Caco Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
