In the 4th minute, José Augusto Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Téo Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F. C. Amargoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Stan Lee Futebol Clube's Laerte Sena got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fernandinho Mello made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mateus Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. After 19 minutes of play, F. C. Amargoso's José Augusto Rodrigues made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes Stan Lee Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Palmeira. Vicente de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Paide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Benigno Michael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente de Lima was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Benigno Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandinho Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes F. C. Amargoso got a freekick which was hit by Téo Hoffmann. 35 minutes into the game, Téo Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F. C. Amargoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stan Lee Futebol Clube the free kick. José Augusto Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vicente de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Stan Lee Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Hoffmann came free, but Vicente de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stan Lee Futebol Clube's zone, Benigno Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente de Lima came out of the goal and Benigno Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half F. C. Amargoso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zézinho Félix made the kick off in the second half. If Benigno Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, F. C. Amargoso's Benigno Michael dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Vicente de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Michael's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Claudinho Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vicente de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Laerte Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente de Lima was a little too slow when Benigno Michael got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stan Lee Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vicente de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, one of F. C. Amargoso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ronaldão Melo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Ronaldão Melo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stan Lee Futebol Clube's protests and gave Ronaldão Melo a yellow card for diving instead. Wilian Marquez did an outstanding performance 78 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-4 to the right of an irritated Vicente de Lima in the goal. After 84 minutes of play, F. C. Amargoso's José Augusto Rodrigues made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! F. C. Amargoso's Benigno Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If José Augusto Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Stan Lee Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F. C. Amargoso were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
