Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Sanches in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cafu Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Veloso in the 13th minute of play. Vânderson Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Waldemar Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cafu Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pussycat Dolls's goalkeeper Cafu Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Pussycat Dolls getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anselmo Favoretto hit a great ball. When Wanderson Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pussycat Dolls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Sanches couldn't finish the play. Vânderson Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luan Lopes went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Pato F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Sanches came free, but Vânderson Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Pussycat Dolls's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Veloso came free, but Cafu Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Veloso was the one to do the kick off. Pato F.C's Vânderson Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Pato F.C from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Waldemar Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pato F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luan Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Cunha having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Barbosa was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Pato F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Sanches came free, but Vânderson Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Pussycat Dolls's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Veloso came free, but Cafu Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pussycat Dolls's Nelson Marquez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Waldemar Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cafu Barbosa. The Pato F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pussycat Dolls's performance. The match ended with a win for Pussycat Dolls.
